Grilling Instructions


  • Soak thawed bratwurst in cold water for 10 minutes prior to grilling.
  • Grill on *medium to low heat*, indirect heat.
  • Coals should be light grey (like in photo below) before bratwurst are placed on the grill.
  • Grill 15 minutes each side of bratwurst until golden brown.
  • Post grilled bratwurst preparation options: 1. Simmer in beer, butter, onion, and spices for an added flavor enhancement. 10 minutes Max.
    2. For a more authentic bratwurst experience. Place directly onto hard roll or bun with mustard, onion, kraut, etc.
     Bratwurst should look like photo below when finished grilling!!!!  Remember, grill slowly on medium heat!!  Have fun!!
